A Rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body's natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body's range of motion.
Common applications include:
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization
A manual therapy technique that uses specially designed instruments to provide a mobilizing effect to scar tissue and myofascial adhesions.
Vibration Plate Therapy
A whole body vibration machine that is used specifically in our office in sports performance and corrective exercise programs. The vibration plate acts as another stressor to the body which forces more muscle recruitment to help each patient stay fully balanced on the machine. An unstable surface makes the body work harder using the deep stabilizing muscles (such as our core and ankles). Studies have also shown it helps improve bone density, which is beneficial to older patients.
We use electronic muscle stimulators to help rehabilitate muscles which may have been weakened due to an injury or with a muscle imbalance.
